I'm still enjoying the Kellogg's “Nut & Honey” ad campaign from the 80's and 90's.

The 80's . . . even the TV commercials were Cool.

Now, here's a commercial that just SCREAMS “60's”!

Oh, yeah. The 80s were a very, very special time for commercials.

I swear I thought Tom Cruise was in this ad.

Saturday morning cartoons were the rule in the last half of the 20th century, and that was due to sponsors ability to get products in front of the largest audience of kids - all day long!

So many SatAM cereal commercials, and it was all part of being a kid.

The Honey Nut Cheerios honey bee attempts to get Scrooge in the Christmas spirit.

Like I posted earlier, in my neck of the woods Standard Oil was branded Humble Oil and Refining Company (of New Jersey). In some states Humble co-branded with Esso.

The confusion ended with the 1972 Exxon national rebrand and I finally found the Humble Oil version of the 1972 TV rebrand commercial.

The famous Alka-Seltzer Spicy Meatball TV commercial.
