Mr Magic
Dairy Queen. I still miss when Dennis the Menace was the spokesman and Blizzard cups looked liked this.

Friendly's

A great sit down place where every kids meal comes with your choice of sundae. I had many a birthday here.

Friendly's also sells a variety of ice cream cakes including the coveted watermelon roll.

I remember those. I think they kept the Dennis The Menace cups for quite a while. Back when I was a kid I would always get the Blizzard with Nerds candy in it anytime we went to Dairy Queen. I still go to DQ sometimes during the summer because this one near me does car cruises every Sunday from late Spring until Fall.

That would be awesome. I would love to eat ice cream while checking out cool cars.

I recently visited a small '50s themed restaurant in my area called Suzy's Diner. They had '50s music playing in the background and had a lot of pictures of celebrities like Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe hanging on the wall. Some of the items on the menu were named after '50s celebrities, too. I recall seeing items named after Ricky Nelson, Bobby Darin, Ritchie Valens, the Big Bopper, and others. Besides the cool '50s atmosphere, it was a pretty nice restaurant in general. The portion sizes were HUGE.

@Supes: That reminds me of a place in Dollywood. Same kind of atmosphere and even a quartet of singers who stop in once in a while

We have a 50s themed diner in my town too, it's pretty similar to what Superman described. The food's nothing to write home about though.

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

This place also has a bit of a nostalgic feel to it.

As generic as my answer is, I'll stick with it.

For me, it's any fast food joint with 90s looking decor.
