If they did that the quality of the CGI would take a big hit. Wasn't there a few other movies that were done in CGI that went to television, like Madagascar?

I'm fairly certain that How To Train Your Dragon had some tv episodes on some network. Not sure which.

Cartoon Network.

Dreamworks has some animated TV shows that mostly air on Nickelodeon, including The Penguins of Madagasgar and Kung Fu Panda. How To Train or Dragon, oddly enough, is shown on Cartoon Network.

It'd be interesting to see what a Pixar TV show would be like. The closest we ever got to that was Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and while I think the 3D intro was done by Pixar themselves, the whole show is 2D animated and done by Disney Television Animation.

Indeed. I wouldn't even be very concerned with lower quality animation for television so long as the writing was up to Pixar's standards (not counting Cars 2 ).

Has there been any good "adult" Halloween specials so far?

I watched the specials for American Dad, Bob's Burgers, Family Guy and The Simpsons and I wasn't really a fan of any.

South Park had some good Halloween episodes. Some of the Treehouse of Horror Simpsons episodes are also really good. Try watching the very first Treehouse of Horror.

Sneak Peek at Toy Story of Terror (Also, Carl Weathers is apparently playing a Combat Carl character):

Thanks to Strange Kids Club for the info.

I know the old ones were good. I'm meaning 2013 ones.

I thought Combat Carl was blown to bits.

This funny little Disney short has a nice, Halloweenish theme to it:
