My dad said when he was a kid in SF, Willie Mays would give out silver dollars on Halloween.

Woah! Can you imagine receiving one of those and still having it today?

Probably, though I rarely see it happen around here. Probably the most criminal activity I engaged in personally during Halloween was to soap the windows and lawn mower of a neighbor.

He was a real grump and had it coming, but yes... I regret it now. Or do I???

We'll, poop. I managed to find Frankenberry, Booberry, & Count Chocula @ Kmart... but not the two rereleases. Maybe next time.

As reported by our friend Rondal at StrangeKidsClub, this year's McDonalds McBoo Pails are a big disappointment to me.

There's just no need for McDonald's to extend their merchandising of Happy Meals to the McBoo Pails. It destroys the "Halloween" feel of the gimmick. I for one, will not be rushing my kids to McD's for this year's offering, as in years past.

Just another line of scantily clad dolls, but with a "monster" theme. It's seems pretty uninspired to me, but I'm not a teenage girl so...

The Bratz dolls were bad enough.

I wonder if anyone around here still Trick-or-Treats.

Thankfully for me, I have 3 kids. So, every year, We dress up as a group of characters. I've been a Safari guide, Mr. Incredible, & Captain Hook.

This year, I'll be a Jedi Knight. Sweet.

I doubt that one person alone can dress as Jabba the Hutt. That's a big dude!

My girlfriend wants me to go with her as she takes her little brother. I'm dressing up. But not anything big. A wolf for me and she's going as a black cat.

I can remember the Halloween parties in school and the parade we had then trick or treating around the classrooms to get practice before the real deal that night.
