I'll probably be playing more Call of Duty. But at the same time, I'm not expecting Trick or Treaters cause it's supposed to be cold on Halloween.

The forecast is freezing cold temperatures in Seattle this Halloween.

Perfect conditions for our Martian Invaders!

"War of the Worlds" has forever changed the nature and quality of Halloween.

And in my opinion George Pal's 1953 movie, "War of the Worlds", marks a high point in the recount of the Martian invasion of Earth.

From the introduction, the awesome musical score, the timeless narration by Sir Cedric Hardwicke, and the amazing animated tour of the solar system - this is movie magic!

Happy Halloween!!!

Tricks or treats? Is that what they say in Georgia? I've never heard that.

We didn't do anything, except watch Candyman which I haven't seen before. Today, I hit up a couple dollar stores to get discount leftovers and struck out there, too. In other words, my Halloween was pretty lame this year.

I take it you haven't seen It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. If you have, you haven't been paying close attention.

Well, you're right. I haven't been paying attention. I haven't watched the Charlie Brown special in many years. But here it is. The quoted scene starts at 9:30 and Lucy and Violet both say trickS or treatS.

But I can't hear the plural when they go to the houses at 14:20 and 14:58. At 15:17, Lucy very clearly says trick or treat (singular). Again, I think it's regional, just like pop /soda /coke.
