I caught the "Bill/Murray" episode last night. I enjoyed it as usual. Though, I think the whole "Erica wants to be a musician" story is getting a bit played out.

I did think the horrible music video part was pretty funny though, and how they made fun of how formulaic many 1980s music videos were.

Agreed. That part was funny for sure. Especially Adam's attempt at "animation" like that used in "Take On Me" and "Opposites Attract".

After this week, it'll be tough not having new episodes for a while, but it'll pass.

Caught the most recent (season finale?) episode last night. Poor Adam, he'll be without Dana next season it looks like. If there is one thing I think they could have played out a little longer, it was his chase for her. He "got the girl" wayyyy too quickly in my opinion. Maybe they didn't want to make it TOTALLY feel like a "Wonder Years" ripoff, but I don't know... a little more drama/time could have worked I think. Maybe Mr. Goldberg felt the show may not last past one season, so he made sure to let all that develop quickly.

Good finale. I liked it. Funny watching Murray and Erica use "I Love You" as an insult.

Barry shows me that I've underestimated the significance of a mascot.

Well, I suppose it's not for everyone. Probably have to be able to relate to it in some way. For me, I relate to Adam in the following ways:

- Grew up in the 80's
- Toys and games were precious to me
- I loved filming "movies"
- My dad was also a furniture store (and gas company) owner
- I had a sister and a brother also

She's automatically prejudiced against modern sitcoms in general. I have gotten her over it for a few, like New Girl, and Glee*, but generally she is like "ugh is there anything else on?" and if there's not, she'll go do something else. I only even dared to try while she was home because I had somebody coming over shortly and expected an interruption. I'm more tolerant but I don't blame her. That whole story over 'saying 'i love you'' was pretty softserve.

*And it was my idea to stop watching Glee halfway through third season. For the record.

I'll admit, this was not one of the better episodes and I think the season should have ended with more "bang". Perhaps if you are able to start with the first episode of season one and then progress through to the end, you'll find a few gems in there. There really are some pretty great and fun episodes.
