It seems the photographer is a friend of a friend of a friend, or somewheres around that... I saw some unfortunate background on this project today:

So it goes again... No this site did not contact me before they posted 50 of my images.... so no they didn't pay me for it either. Neither has anyone else (except for the one company I sued and settled with - and no I can't say anything about it). The company that put out the book, Steidl, never paid me a cent and charged me 20 dollars a book for the 300 I needed for kickstarter backers... so I lost money on that too (I had budgeted 7 dollars a book and hadn't considred the 100 copies that would be shipped overseas). But I really did not shoot them for money. I shot them because I have always wanted/needed to make work. I was happy with these when I made them but was literally laughed at when I tried to bring them to a few galleries back in 1989/90. So they went in a drawer. When the came out 20 + years later they had aged nicely.

One would think that the images would have value as prints but I have not had any luck getting a gallery to give me the time of day. If you want to have a show in your gallery let me know- or tell your friend that runs one... This is just one of the half dozen times they've gone viral. and this will proably get shared 100k times which means a few million people will see them. So there's that. that is gratifying even if it is not renumerative. I think we'll make our own book some day. and so it will go again- hopefully

That is unfortunate. If this guy ever gets around to making official prints I'll definitely buy a few to support him.

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.
