The "Disco Train" level from Diddy's Kong's Quest had a nice beat too.

getting all of the time stones in sonic cd rewards you with the good ending of sonic cd, but aside from that you notice that the future versions of each level have been saved. in the final zone, metallic madness you see that both future machinery and animals exist harmoniously and the music that accompanies it has you aware that while you've saved the planet, you still have one last match against robotnik.
