Sad news. I'm actually in the middle of trying to watch the entire series of The Andy Griffith Show on Netflix. I haven't reached the Gomer episodes yet, but they just won't be the same when I do now that I know he has passed away.

Some teens in Wisconsin went to prom in a squad car that was (probably) from The Andy Griffith Show. Pretty cool!

Maybe it's the folksy humor. For me, that's one of the appealing aspects of the show, but it doesn't fit everyone's taste.

Aunt Bee seemed like such a sweetheart most of the time on-camera, but off-camera, Frances wasn't. Amazing what you can learn behind the scenes.
