You know what one of the biggest travesties of the world is? The 7-Up Spot is remembered more as a one hit wonder product placement video game than he is as the soda mascot he was originally intended to be. Oh well, at least one (maybe more, I could just be getting the 'Member Berries in the wrong place. But then I remember a lot of stuff nobody gives a crap about) of us remembers him as he was originally. You did awesome as a mascot, Spot and to show my gratitude for it, your next 7-Up Vodka is on me

Now if you'll excuse me, time for this retro snob o' specific tastes to remember Chester the Cheetos Cheetah as a product placement video game and not as a junk food mascot. Same with The Yo-Noid, Ronald McDonald and The McDonald Land Gang (See McKids for the NES for reference), Cap'n Crunch, and the creepy plastic head Burger King guy. From now on, I remember those as product placement video games and not as food and beverage mascots

i'll bet the crappy videos game tie-ins were the reason why 7-Up dropped him as a mascot lol. then again there were two crappy chester cheetah video games and he's still around like he hasn't left the 90s
