1812 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @pikachulover I guess I should have collaborated with you for more personal photographic evidence of the event. At least Gadget got her own ride once Toontown opened, what a tribute! I didn't remember the stamp on the map deal, sounds cool. I definitely was watching The Disney Afternoon on KCAL 9, I think I linked to that special. Was it the one with the Olsen Twins? @Vaporman87 I have found evidence on YouTube that Disney World had a Disney Afternoon stage show at Mickey's Starland, but no mention of the Avenue and ride conversions. @thecrow174 Another great observation. I guess futuristic surfboards aren't very fitting for the timeframe either, but they probably knew they had to give kids someone to identify with, despite looking like he came from a totally different series. | The Disney Afternoon Revisited | Jan 18, 2015
1810 | Article | Mr Magic | I wonder what made the TaleSpin animators decide to give Kit a backwards ball cap, which is a 90s look, not a 30s/40s look. | The Disney Afternoon Revisited | Jan 17, 2015
1809 | Video | Caps 2.0 | I'm sorry about the slightly out-of-synch videos. It's strange...When I first rippred them from the DVDs, the audio and video were in-synch, but once I used my editing program and converted them to FLV files, the audio went askew. I hope this isn't a regular thing in the future, but I don't know a way to ensure that the video will be in-synch. | Running Scared | Jan 17, 2015
1808 | Article | Vaporman87 | Any idea if Disney World participated in this? | The Disney Afternoon Revisited | Jan 17, 2015
1807 | Article | pikachulover | Rescue Rangers and Darkwing Duck were my favorites. I even have the lunchboxes for each of those cartoons. I had to beg my parents to take me there. I hadn't been to Disneyland since 1986 when they took me there for my birthday. We went on Columbus Day back when the schools still gave that holiday off. I didn't get autographs, but I did get pictures! I really wanted to see Gadget most of all. I was so happy to meet her. My mom even got into and took a picture next to the Grammi Gummi standup. If I remember correctly the boats had recording of the characters voices. I almost crashed a car in the autopia! Did you get the map the blank spaces that you had go around the area to get it stamped? I had that poster up in my room for years. It got so faded! I forgot what happened to it. My parents also bought me a small plush Chip doll. I was disappointed they didn't have Gadget ones. Do remember that special that KHJ/KCAL showed on Disney Afternoon live? | The Disney Afternoon Revisited | Jan 17, 2015
1806 | Article | Benjanime | The dream about Taz reminds me of a freaky dream I used to come back to as a kid, where I was in a shopping mall, and a flying demon was following me everywhere I went. | My Top 5 Strangest Reoccurring Dreams | Jan 17, 2015
1805 | Video | Vaporman87 | Yeah. I noticed a few of these latest videos had out of sync video, but not bad enough that they weren't watchable. | Running Scared | Jan 17, 2015
1804 | Article | comic_book_fan | vaporman- i have had similar dreams to jumping dream you have only mine i could run off cliffs and not be harmed until i ran into some water then i couldn't swim and i would wake up. hoju koolander- pillow head was like a freddy kruger only he almost never spoke he was horrifying to me as a kid. | My Top 5 Strangest Reoccurring Dreams | Jan 16, 2015
1803 | Video | Mr Magic | The audio appears to be out of sync. Anyway, this is going on my "Must Watch" list. | Running Scared | Jan 16, 2015
1802 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Pillow Head sounds like a good premise for a horror movie. I had 2 reoccurring dreams during childhood: 1) I would get left behind somewhere by my family, but in this world I was a 4 year old Spider-Man. So I would stick to the bottom of a car (in costume) that would drive around the city until I found my family. 2) I was stuck in a maze with multiple doors, either Batman, The Joker or a family friend would pop out from a door, but when I went to open it they were gone and as I walked through I was back the start of the maze again. | My Top 5 Strangest Reoccurring Dreams | Jan 16, 2015 |
