Thank you for this most excellent video which I've saved to my playlist.

But did you also know that the Red Hot Chili Peppers always throw me back into the 1970's? Yes indeed, they get me reliving some cool moments from my high school/college days and here is one great moment that deserves to be in the Retro Hall of Fame.

JULY 1976 - the United States celebrates a month long 200th Birthday Party!

AUGUST 1976 - Starbucks - "Moonlight Feels Right". The song was Everywhere. I could not escape this tune no matter the time of day or day of the week. I even heard it in my sleep coming through the walls of the dorm room. There was no relief from Starbuck's song until January 1977 when our new President, Jimmy Carter, opened the window from the White House south portico and yelled, "Turn That Music Off!".

eddstarrJul 24, 2025View
51072The Café
Remember the fun of shopping in person at a local store? Well it's Summer in Seattle and I may as well do all my shopping online because no body seems to work anywhere anymore. Geez, can't find a manager anymore!

eddstarrJul 20, 2025View
51071If There Was a Retro Hall of Fame...
I have an album I wanna mention myself. Everclear's "Sparkle and Fade album.

The kids on the album cover are the band members during their childhood days. This album is known for the song "Santa Monica" which is probably their most well-known hit. Also, this album is known for well...being totally awesome! Buy it or listen to it for free on YouTube and you'll see what I mean.

Mr MagicJul 14, 2025View
51070Your avatar.
Mr. Magic, nice.

I changed my avatar to a cropped Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events The Hostile Hospital book cover illustration of Klaus Baudelaire when he and his baby sister, Sunny are both in disguise as evil doctors for Count Olaf and are trying to rescue their eldest sister, Violet from being killed from a terrible surgery on her that is being planned.

Great book from a incredible book series.
BionicleFan1994Jul 12, 2025View

51067If There Was a Retro Hall of Fame...
Mr Magic, I loved Krystal back in the day. Good fast food joint choice there.

Here is another music nomination, music-related. It's RHCP's Californication album (the perfect album to listen to during summertime):

I love RHCP in general, but I wish included this album and ranked it at #1 on my Top 4 RHCP Albums for my RHCP article I made on here. I honestly don't know what I was thinking by not including the Californication album and not ranking it at #1 at the time I made that article, yet One Hot Minute made my Top 4.
BionicleFan1994Jul 07, 2025View
51066If There Was a Retro Hall of Fame...

Krystal

They say the best things comes in small packages. And it's true. Krystal (Or the White Castle of the South, as I call it.) isn't just a restaurant. It's a lifetime of memories for me and anyone else who's eaten there a long, long time. My #1 meal there had always been five Krystals with no onions, two Krystal Chiks, fries and Coke. I sure do dig this "Fresh, Hot, Small Square"

Mr MagicJul 05, 2025View
