But one day my favorite 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Stevens, was curious and asked the entire class to mane their favorite cartoon character. One by one every student said the same name, Bugs Bunny.</p> <p>Mrs. Stevens then listed all her favorite cartoon characters - and that's when I realized that I knew very little cartoon history.</p> <p>My thanks to CBS for starting me in my quest for cartoon knowledge by keeping alive one of Terrytoons distinctive characters, Mighty Mouse. From 1955 all the way to 1988, CBS offered Mighty Mouse to generations of toon fans.
