Exactly. The sheer volume of food products that contain either sugar or sodium that you would never expect either in is staggering.

I took it upon myself to cook a chicken breast for myself the other day, while the wife was away. I'm no cook. The chicken was extremely dry and barely flavored. I do so much better on a grill than a pan with anything it seems.

Baked chicken is pretty darn good. 350 degrees for 20 minutes and you're good to go!

Dipped in egg then italian seasoning bread crumbs or panko crumbs. Also makes a mean chicken parm!

Well after a short hiatus due to sickness, the past two days I have been back on the treadmill for 30 minute programs. Feeling good about that.

That is exactly how I entertain myself.

Night before last, it was an episode of Hoarders... but last night I was stuck watching Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood because that's what the kids wanted to see.

Still, it was somewhat entertaining because the episode dealt with using the potty.

Came back from the doctor today. I lost 30 lbs!

That's awesome pika! Not so awesome on the juice and soda ban though. Still, if you can manage to cut back as you were instructed, you'll find that the craving for both soda and juice slowly fades. I haven't missed soda for a few days now. Not a single craving. I've been without a sip of soda for about two weeks. It's the longest stretch without it since I was on the South Beach Diet several years ago.
