I think I just lost respect for Netflix.

@Linux: How droll. But clearly not surprising in the age of "racism for thee but not for me". We're such easy targets these days. And why create something profoundly good when you can just stir crap up for ratings?

while i'm not one to give up my subscription over a controversial movie releasing on their service, it disturbs me seeing such a subject done in a harsh manner. yes, there are racial bigots in this country but just because one person in a race has made an insult towards you doesn't mean that every single person of that race is going to treat you like that.

Supposedly, the movie this is based on is actually a critique of this sort of attitude and thinking. Maybe the show will be the same. Even if it isn't, I'm still not about to cancel my Netflix. Not with a new season of Stranger Things on the way.

Oakley was arrested on Wednesday after causing trouble at the Guardian. He apparently started screaming at James Dolan and then got into a fistfight with several security guards.
