I'm no psychologist, but I'm skeptical of this explanation for the divide between Gen-Xers and Millennials. Sure, we are all coming to grips with our mortality right about now (if you, like me, are a Gen-Xer). But I don't take that out on anyone, or myself.

I think the perception that is referred to in this article is not just perception, but reality. I see it all around me. The sense of entitlement is pervasive in today's culture.

I might have ranted about this before but while Millenials get crap for drinking starbucks and liking alternative music the baby boomers destroyed the economy, the environment, and went against every "hippie idea" they conceived at Woodstock.
