Mr Magic
The Texans and Bengals just aren't contenders.

Well, the first round of the NFL playoffs is over. All four road teams won for the first time in NFL history, and all four games have been boring thus far. Both Houston and Washington got their *sses kicked by Kansas City and Green Bay, the Pittsburgh-Cinncinnati game got extremely ugly, and the Seattle-Minnesota game was offensively stunted because of the weather.

I hope the divisional round gets better.

Duke has such a rich and cherished men's basketball team. I wonder if they are going to make another run this year.

Probably the most storied shot in all of college basketball history. That's all.

I highly recommend watching the documentary, "I Hate Christian Laettner". Well worth the watch.

@Rick:

Yeah, I think Coach Krzyzewski can lead his team to a 6th title before retiring.

So LA finally gets a pro football team again... thoughts? Anyone care?

I heard about that. A friend of mine is a big fan of the Rams and he's estate about the move, thinking it's the best thing for them.

Personally I don't know if this is good. It seems like no football team is ever able to survive in Los Angeles for a long period of time. The Rams have a lot of problems outside of their St. Louis issues, and only time will tell if this is a good thing.

There were many problems that plagued the NFL coming back to LA. The main thing is that nobody wants to play at The Coliseum. It's old and was built for the 1932 Olympic games and used again for the1984 ones. The Rams' last few years were played at Angel Stadium. Plus The Coliseum has like no parking. The Rose Bowl is pretty old too. They had been trying to lure any NFL team with a new stadium because they knew nobody wanted to call home to those places. They said the new stadium is going to be built in Inglewood. Hollywood Park which was there was closed down recently and The Forum is still there. It's better than trying to build something near Staples Center like they had proposed before because there is already no parking there as it is with the theater and Staples Center. They could use the good weather bargaining chip to have Super Bowls be held at the new stadium.

I'm not a Rams fan, but I hope for their sake, they can turn their program around.
