I don't know why they decided to make it a 100+ million dollar action movie.
People watch all kind of terrible horror movies like Ouja and the Paranormal Activities that are made under 10 mil. They should have made the Mummy a horror movie with a modest 30-40 million dollar budget and it would have been awesome. Also, I love how they got Tom Cruise even though he is older than Brendan Fraser lol |

Too bad this did so poorly. I was interested in seeing the resurrection of Universal's classic monster movies. I hope this film's performance doesn't cause them to change their plans of reviving some of their other monster characters.
