At least the Bratz/Little Tikes billionaire tried to save Toys R Us. It was a good effort.

Just saw that on reddit. That was definitely a flying elbow to the feels.

I really, REALLY hope the KayBee Toys resurrection happens to help alleviate this gut punch.

Modern-day pro wrestling is corny enough already.

This thought actually crossed my mind when the news first broke about their bankruptcy. Ignoring the donations that the corporation itself made, so much of what these charity drives took in were coming from donation bins set up in the stores themselves. People would usually buy an extra toy or two just to drop it off in the bin after checkout.

Locally a tv station teamed up with the local Walmarts for their toy drive.

Good to know they've helped out with a worthy cause.

So over the last few days, I had to go through an old bag filled with tons of paper to shred and get rid of. I found tons of receipts, one of which just happened to be a Toys R Us receipt. It was from Christmas time of 2012, as my parents bought two gifts for me there.

I decided to save it as a memento. While it may not have been my final purchase at Toys R Us, I can now at least say I know what the last two items I got from Toys R Us were.
