Well... here we are. The night before Christmas.

As I sit here, with my children all nestled snug in their beds... visions of Mario dancing in their heads... I can't help but recall this night in my youth.

I would often have a difficult time falling asleep on this night. I was so eager to catch a glimpse of Santa, if it was at all possible. Yet somehow, that sneaky fat man always managed to get past me right at that time that my eyes and consciousness failed me. How did he DO THAT!?

And now, here I am. Playing the role of Santa. Digging the wrapped gifts out of their hiding place and eating cookies not meant for me. It's the most fun "roleplay" a person could ask for.
