Yeah. And it's kinda nice because you can just relax and get familiar with your newborn while the nurses do the tough stuff, and teach you along the way. I know that really made a big difference for me. I would have been a bit more anxious if we had left just a short time after birth.

I pretty much raised my little sister and it's quite an experience that is quite rewarding in itself.

Remember the days when we used to just lie down and go to sleep? The thing is, the sleep part gets better. The part BEFORE sleep, gets worse. I wish I could just lie down when I'm tired at night and go to sleep. But no, we have to get the pull ups on the kids, brush their teeth, get them to bed and asleep... THEN I get to go to sleep.

But it's worth it, naturally.

Remember to treat your kids right, parents.

If you don't, they might grow up to write a tell-all book. Or they might go on The Bill Cunningham Show and blame every problem they have on you lol.
