3719ArticleDirtyD79Pizza Hut's always been one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. I remember back int he 80s One of the promotional things they had was a pitcher with the Pizza Hut logo on it that you could buy with your order. We ended up getting one and had it for several years. They were white with a red lid and had the pizza hut logo on the side. We'd use it for Kool-Aid and iced tea until one day it just got too grungy and wouldn't come clean anymore. 3718ArticleBenjanimeby the late 90s i actually rented games more than buying them, which probably wasn't the best choice since i was still missing out on a bunch of great games, but that's how my mind worked back then lol.The Worst Games I've Rented on my AllowanceJan 31, 2017View
3717ArticleRick Ace RhodesI would honestly say though you are a lot smarter for renting games, trying them out and determining you don't like them. Unlike me, who would buy the games as a kid and realize what a pile of crap I just bought. The Worst Games I've Rented on my AllowanceJan 31, 2017View
3716ArticleBenjanimethat is indeed correct, as stated in a video by 'did you know gaming'. i know not many people disliked alex kidd for its difficulty, but a modern game would be nice to see.The Worst Games I've Rented on my AllowanceJan 31, 2017View
3715ArticleHoju KoolanderJust more evidence that licensed games usually disappoint. Am I remembering correctly that Alex Kidd was the original mascot for SEGA Genesis, before Sonic became their main man?The Worst Games I've Rented on my AllowanceJan 30, 2017View
3714ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 Secret's out, it's the Ladies Pants section of Goodwill. I assume that's where David Lee Roth and the guys from Poison did their shopping as well.RetroDaze Invades RetroCon 2016Jan 30, 2017View
3713ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 Glad to know you too experienced the glory of the acid washed jean jacket. I'm sure you rocked it more proudly than I did. @NLogan Yes, the surf element of the game was pretty tough as a kid, but nowadays my son loves to watch me wipe out. @jkatz Bust 'em out, man. It's crazy what we took for granted back then as just being a part of life, which now seems so kitschy and retro.Hoju's 7th Birthday Party: 1989Jan 30, 2017View
3712ArticlejkatzBelieve it or not, that cgi spiderman logo is one of my earliest memories. They were still showing Muppet Babies back in the early 90s and being a wee ankle biter I would watch it without having any idea who (or what) that creepy-looking thing at the end credits was!Make Mine Marvel 2Jan 30, 2017View
3711Articlejkatz@Vapor I like to think of the crash as a continuity-erasing "Crisis"...and looks like Dr. T is now part of the canon again!Dr. Timewarp Returns: 80's Drug Store ShoppingJan 30, 2017View
