I agree. The enthusiasm is infectious, and really helps to make the whole ordeal easier to cope with. You guys are the best members a site could ask for.

Oh wow! That's awful. Someone really screwed up at that hosting provider. They don't sound very competent. I've been too busy to login recently with vacation and all but when I tried to login several days ago things felt very slow. Unfortunately doesn't sound like much can be done about it now except move on.

I'm don't feel so bad for myself since I lost only three articles that I myself thought could of been better. I'm more upset for people like NLogan and Hoju. NLogan lost his great wolverine series to this, and Hoju was over 1200 points and just did a great recap of our Meetup at Retro Con.
That, and everyone who lost their great articles that were done for Halloween season. *Insert funny signature here*

since a few users recommended that I should have added more games to my last halloween article, I may revise it and include some more. also it sucks to see a majority of the item listings from the store wiped out, but hopefully that'll get ironed out too. Speaking of, with regard to everyone's RetroRating and Points, what do you prefer?
If we are able to recoup some lost content via Rakesh, you will all be closer to your original numbers, but still off by a bit. Do we want to bring everyone's RetroRatings back to where they were before this disaster, despite the missing articles and such? Or just start fresh from May's (or September's) numbers? Any thoughts? You love this signature.

Well, I think it works out the same either way for me since I'm at zero points now. Once I submit all of my missing articles over again, I should be back to where I was. Speaking of points and the Points Store, I actually bought this year's Halloween pack from the store sometime before everything disappeared but hadn't received it yet. Should I put in another purchase for that once I get my points back or would another order mean I'd be getting two of them? |

When it comes to the retro- rating, that was kind of my favorite thing. Was pushing really hard to make it to 100. Another thing that meant a lot to me was being featured. 4 of my 5 missing made featured. When I resubmit, with they regain their featured status? Sucks that this happened, but I'm glad to see we are all here to get things back in order.
