Who knows how many video uploads Caps lost?

I know how many I lost, or at least I can guess. I'd say at least 60 movie trailers and 30 commercials. The trailers will be easy to reload. The commercials? That's a different story. I'd have to copy the DVD again and edit the commercials out for uploading again, and that would take quite a while to do.

I lost two articles, although all my vids seem to be ok.

Those lost articles will go down in history like the first Dr. Who episodes

If you haven't saved your text from your missing articles, do it soon. The google cache for the Retro-Daze article page and main page are already at Dec 4th so all info from the last cache on Nov 24th is gone. You can still find your article titles if you look hard enough in the searches but they may be a few pages back and are getting harder to find. I only found a few of mine through comments in the comment section. Save your text as a draft now you can always go back in and work on it adding pictures later. Four of my articles come up with messages like this:

404. That’s an error.

The requested URL /search?q=cache:3rrDXUsHuUsJ:www.retro-daze.org/site/article/9225%3Forder%3Drating%26page%3D3+&cd=12&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

Many links to my cached articles now are broken and go straight to the submission page when they worked before. Get yours now before they are gone.

Yeah I too noticed that the cached versions of pages were already updating to the current state they are in. Didn't take long at all for that to happen.

The PHP errors are being fixed as we speak, so it won't be long before articles can start to be approved. Fear not.

In the meantime, does anyone have the RetroRating numbers from before the "incident"? As I mentioned, the cached version is of no help now.

For those in the scroll down section past 12th place you would have to add all of the retroratings from their missing articles posted on page two of this thread and add it to their current total on the home page. You would still be missing from late April to early June and whatever points for video submissions. When google cleared the cache it is gone. Wayback only snapshots so there is no more current version of the "more" star submitters section available. It just goes to the current values or from like April.

I found the cached copy of Poltergeist Protocol and will reupload the images and submit.

The only thing that changing the ratings values will skew is the average score (in parenthesis). So if nobody minds that, we'll go ahead and fix at least the first 12, and then go from there.

Can someone calculate what Superman and Rick Ace Rhodes RetroRatings were before the crash?
