Yeah, there was no other female pop star like Britney Spears in the Late-90's/Early-2000's. She was in a whole other stratosphere compared to people like P!nk, Jessica Simpson and Nelly Furtado.

Now I'm going to nominate a best selling greatest hits album from the greatest power ballad band of all time...Journey:

Steve Perry has been said to have one of the best voices in rock and roll. And it's true. He had a pretty good solo career too.

I'd also nominate Coldplay's A Rush Of Blood To The Head:

I love Coldplay's second album and even consider it superior to anything Radiohead has ever done and I'm a huge fan of Coldplay's first three albums in general. They were definitely the U2 of the 2000's and this album cemented them as that.

Another video I remember seeing on MTV in 2001 is this one.

I was watching the Morning Watch, which was the name of MTV's morning block of music videos and I saw this brand new video playing called Yellow by Coldplay. (Or Spankin' New as MTV called it.) And when it started, it showed a beach during a dark morning. And this guy comes running along the shore. We also hear the band playing loud rock and roll off-screen. The guy running across the beach starts singing and the more he sings, the more the day progresses. All throughout the school day, I kept thinking about this video. It just really stuck with me.

The Flip Wilson Show was a hit in the early '70's and everyone's favorite character was Geraldine.

Lite Brite

A fun, "Brite" way to show your creative side. You could make a delicious ice cream sundae, a sign warning your little brother to stay out of your room, and all sorts of things. Lite Brite is still being sold today. I think I got one for the Toys For Tots last year. What did you make?

Wow - and just yesterday I was thinking about Lite-Brite and how the cool kids always got plenty of accessory sets because that's how you could create unique artworks.

Now for something different, here's my favorite scene from Young Frankenstein.

I'm taking it easy with the '80's music - don't want to overload anybody!

Quizno's Subs!!!:

The first time I had been to Quizno's was when I first moved to Tallahassee in 2002 and the last time I ate there was 2010 before all the Quizno's locations around here all closed up. Back in the 2000's, this was me and my family's go-to-sub place and we LOVED their subs.

@Edd:

Out of all Mel Brooks films, that one probably gets talked about the most.
